Happy New Year!
If you’re feeling the usual January pressure to fix everything at once, I want you to take a moment to pause.
As a lifestyle medicine doctor, a mom of two, and someone running a busy practice while juggling all the real stuff (school drop-offs, work deadlines, dinner, exhaustion, repeat), I can tell you this:
Extreme New Year’s resolutions don’t work.
Not because you lack discipline or motivation, but because they ask too much, too fast, all at once.
Every January, I see the same cycle: People try to overhaul their diet, start intense workouts, fix their sleep, manage stress perfectly… and by February, they’re burned out or discouraged.
Meaningful change, the kind that actually lasts, has to be strategic, sustainable, and kind to your body (think physical AND mental health).
Sustainable health is built strategically-one step at a time, not all at once.
That's the lens I use with my patients and clients, and it's the framework I use in my own life. In 2026, I'm organizing health around the pillars of lifestyle medicine, focusing on one pillar each month so change feels doable and actually sticks.
We'll kick off January with nutrition-specifically anti-inflammatory, blood-sugar balancing habits that support energy, metabolism and overall health. Throughout the month, I'll be breaking this down into simple weekly focuses and practical tips over Instagram (@ensolifestylehealth), where I can show you how this looks in real life.
No extremes. No “all or nothing.” Just small, intentional habits that actually fit into busy lives.
This approach is how I help my patients and clients create real change and it’s the framework that keeps me grounded too. I’m working on myself right alongside you.
This year is about you.
More energy. Lower stress. Stronger body. Better relationships. Feeling good from the inside out.
Not perfection, but progress.
If you follow me on Instagram (@ensolifestylehealth) I’m starting this week by walking through the lifestyle medicine pillars. And here in the newsletter, I’ll continue sharing simple, evidence-based ways to help you take care of you, without guilt or burnout.
I’m really glad you’re here. Let’s make 2026 a year of calm, sustainable health together.
